STEP 3: REGISTER FOR DAY TRIPS

Two day trips are being organized during our time in Antigua.

From January 17-24, immerse yourself in an all-inclusive in-person retreat for the 2nd and 3rd transmissions of the course, PLUS two sacred sites

The first is to Mixco Viejo, one of the sites that the Ascension One team had on their list but did not get access to during the 2021 Guatemala Expedition. So we are headed there to finish the work!

Mixco Viejo was originally the capital of the Poqomam Maya, one of Guatemala’s main tribes. It was known to be the Poqomam capital and a ceremonial center for the region. Together, we will experience a traditional fire ceremony hosted by an indigenous elder and activate this important site.

The second is to Lake Atitlan where Asil channeled on the lake on top of a boat!

Lake Atitlán is a lake in the Guatemalan Highlands of the Sierra Madre mountain range. It is the deepest lake in Central America and renowned as one of the most beautiful lakes in the world.  The lake basin is volcanic in origin, filling an enormous caldera formed by an eruption 84,000 years ago. The culture of the towns and villages surrounding Lake Atitlán is influenced by the Maya people.  Have you ever done a channel-opening field meditation on a boat? We will travel to the submerged city where we were guided in 2021 to do the site work and feel into the energy of this mysterious, waterlogged, urban wonder.

Check out the photo and video journeys and the channeling from Lake Atitlan on the Sacred Earth: Guatemala Expedition program.

TRAVEL INSURANCE, COVID AND COUNTRY ADMITTANCE REQUIREMENTS

For United States citizens, there are no COVID or visa requirements to travel to Guatemala, however, it is highly recommended that you check the US Embassy website before travel as this may change…

For those residents outside the United States, we encourage you to check with your local embassy about COVID and visa requirements before you travel.

We recommend purchasing travel insurance for medical expenses and may also choose to add coverage in case you need to cancel (including “cancel for any reason” coverages).

MONEY EXCHANGE

The Guatemalan Quetzal is the official currency of Guatemala. While US dollars can be used for the below-recommended services, the cash must be in good condition (not torn or stained) so we recommend doing any cash transactions with Quetzales. The exchange rate is approximately 8 Qs per $1 USD.
